Automatic Filter Cloth Pressure Wash System Takes the Labor out of Filter Press Maintenance

Beckart Environmental recently installed a PLC controlled automatic plate wash system on an 800mm filter press at a corrugated facility in the Eastern USA. This filter plate washing system takes the labor out of cleaning filter cloths automatically shifting and washing the filter cloths at 1,000 psi. The 800mm design includes the following:

·        15 H.P. pressure pump

·        PSI – 1,000

·        Nozzles – 14

Proper maintenance and cleaning of filter cloths allows cycle times to stay consistent and improves filter cake quality. With facilities short on staff, this labor-saving device will keep your filter cloths clean and allow your filter press to work as intended.
